The Criminal Court of Appeals finds Rajmonda Balilaj, former mayor of Patos, guilty of "violation of equality in tenders" and sentences her to 1 year and 4 months in prison.
The former official is not risking her prison sentence, as the court ultimately suspended her prison sentence, leaving her on probation for 2 years and 8 months.
Balilaj has also been stripped of the right to exercise public functions for a period of 5 years. (A2 Televizion)
