Bardhi's report on "Xibraka", SPAK finds no evidence for Olsi

SPAK has not found any evidence to include Olsi Rama, the brother of Prime Minister Edi Rama, in the "Xibraka" file.

Through an official reaction, SPAK confirmed the closure of the investigation launched after a report by the democratic deputy, Gazment Bardhi, who claimed that Olsi Rama had connections and contacts with convicted persons in connection with the cocaine processing laboratory in Xibraka, writes A2.

"The investigations have shown that there are no evidences or facts that connect the citizen Ols Rama with the criminal activity, for which several individuals were previously convicted. In addition, no other possible perpetrators of the criminal offenses in question have been identified", it was stated in the official response of SPAK.

After some defendants were sent to trial for the laboratory discovered in 2016, the investigation into the identification of other persons involved was suspended. This investigation was reactivated after the report made by MP Bardhi.
SPAK informed that in the framework of these investigations, a series of investigative actions have been carried out, including cooperation with the competent authorities of Kosovo.

On December 23, 2024, after not finding any significant evidence or identifying other persons involved in this criminal activity, SPAK decided to suspend the investigation and send the file to the General Directorate of the State Police to continue efforts to identification of the authors.
