Police in Gjirokastra have arrested an 18-year-old man, following an operation to crack down on criminal activities in the field of narcotics and illegal possession of weapons.
The "Blues" report that the young man possessed 1 Kalashnikov firearm, combat ammunition, 14 electric detonator capsules, explosive molds and a quantity of cocaine.
" The Narcotics Investigation Specialists in cooperation with the Operational Section of the Gjirokastër DVP, and with the Gjirokastër Police Commissariat, based on information obtained operationally that a citizen was in possession of narcotics and illegal items, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Owner". As a result of the operation, citizen EM, 18 years old, resident of the village of Lazarat, was arrested in flagrante delicto ," the police announced. (A2 Televizion)
