A 63-year-old Italian man passed away this morning after being hospitalized since May 20th after not feeling well.
On May 20, he had undergone surgery at a dental clinic in the Kosovars' Street area in Tirana and immediately after the surgery, he did not feel well and was transported to the hospital, where despite the care of the doctors, he passed away today.
The investigative team took statements from the administrator and dentist of the clinic where he performed the surgical intervention, while the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further evaluation, writes A2 CNN.

On 22.05.2025, the Italian citizen DS, 63 years old, with temporary residence in Tirana, went to the hospital for treatment, as it is suspected that after a surgical intervention on 20.05.2025, in a dental clinic on Kosovars Street, he did not feel well. The 63-year-old, despite the medical assistance received, passed away this morning. The Criminal Investigation Specialists at the Police Commissariat No. 2 have carried out the first investigative actions, where they have taken statements from the administrator and the dentist of the clinic. The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, for further evaluation of the case.
