The High Court registers the appeal of Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj against the court decisions that have left him in the security measure of "prison arrest", writes A2 CNN.
Judge Albana Boksi has been selected as the rapporteur for the case.
Since February 10, Veliaj has been in custody and is being investigated by SPAK for corruption, money laundering, failure to declare or conceal assets, and introducing unauthorized items into detention facilities.
Veliaj's wife, Ajola Xoxa, is also under investigation by Spak, who is under a security measure requiring her to appear. Five other businessmen are also being investigated under this measure. (A2 Televizion)
