The stabbing of a 24-year-old Palestinian woman in Tirana by a 49-year-old man of the same origin adds to the mysteries for the investigative group, who are not convinced whether the names they were presented with in Albania are their real names, A2 CNN reports.
On February 19, when Fati and Rayyan Alwan entered our country as tourists, they presented themselves in Rinas with Greek documents. A2 CNN learns that investigators have already raised suspicions that these documents may be forged and their identities are not correct.
For this suspicion, as well as to establish whether the suspected perpetrator is her husband or father, the Albanian side has requested information from their counterparts in Germany, where the two Palestinians lived, a response that has not yet been received. And if the German side establishes the suspicions that the 49-year-old man already declared internationally wanted is the father of the 24-year-old girl, it completely changes the course of the investigation and the motives for the crime, reports a2 CNN.
The young woman was found dead in the apartment they had rented in Tirana on February 27. But the macabre crime is suspected to have occurred between the 19th, when they entered Albania, and February 22, when the 49-year-old left Rinas airport alone. He initially traveled to Greece and then to the Netherlands. Albanian authorities have requested the assistance of European police to find and arrest the suspected perpetrator. (A2 Televizion)
