An Albanian was executed by firing squad in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The Ecuadorian media report that the 53-year-old Albanian Arjanit Rizaj was executed with a firearm in front of the "Luis Vernaza" hospital, where he had accompanied his wife and was standing inside a parked vehicle.
Residents and some sellers of the area told the authorities that the Albanian was shot at by a white motorcycle on which two people were moving. They left in an unknown direction after committing the murder. According to preliminary information from the National Police, the killers used a 9 mm caliber firearm.
Initially, Rizaj was sent to the emergency room of the "Luis Vernaza" hospital, and then to the "Panamericana" clinic, where the doctors tried to keep him alive, but the wounds caused by the firearm were severe, causing his death. (A2 Televizion)
