As a result of the checks carried out with the support of police intelligence, with the objective of detaining citizens who possess firearms without a permit and are a potential threat to public safety, the services of the Shijak Police Commissariat finalized the "Double" operation.
During the operation, citizen SS, 30 years old, was arrested in flagrante delicto and his father, citizen Sh. S., 54 years old, was declared wanted.
During the searches of their apartment in Maminas, 2 firearms (Kalashnikov and pistol), 4 magazines and 157 live ammunition were found.
Efforts are underway to capture the 54-year-old.
