A 59-year-old man in Mat has been arrested by the Police after a Kalashnikov-type firearm and hundreds of live ammunition were found in his apartment.
Through a statement, the Police announced that the operation took place after receiving information on the operational side from the Blues.

The services of the Mat Police Commissariat, in continuation of their work to prevent and crack down on the criminal activity of illegal possession of weapons, based on information obtained operationally that a citizen was carrying a firearm, have organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Burgajeti".
As a result of the operation, the arrest in flagrante delicto of citizen Rr. M., 59 years old, resident of the village of Burgajet, was made, after the Police services found hidden in his apartment, a Kalashnikov firearm and 813 combat cartridges, which were seized as material evidence.
