The Durrës police arrested a 35-year-old man, armed with a Kalashnikov, who risked using it after a conflict for weak motives, A2 CNN reports.
"During patrols aimed at guaranteeing order and public safety, the General Patrol services of the Durra Police Station have found a conflict between several citizens, in the premises of a bar in neighborhood No. 13. Immediately, as part of a coded police operation "Momentum" has intervened in order to prevent the escalation of the conflict, as well as clarifying its circumstances", said the police.
From the checks, it was found that one of the citizens involved in the conflict, specifically the citizen GV, 35 years old, resident in neighborhood no. 13, Durrës, had a Kalashnikov firearm with him. Police services neutralized and arrested the 35-year-old in the act, for the criminal offense of "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", as well as seizing his firearm.
The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues the investigations to document the cause and other circumstances of the conflict. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office of Durrës, for further actions. (A2 Televizion)
