A 61-year-old man was arrested by the Saranda Police after he was caught red-handed selling smuggled cellphones and watches. The police seized 134 mobile phones, over 350 mobile phone accessories and watches of different brands, worth about 20,000 euros. The 61-year-old from Finiqi is accused of the criminal offenses of "Trading in contraband goods", "Storage of contraband goods", "Illegal employment", "Concealment of income" and "Exercise of commercial activity not registered in the tax authorities".

134 mobile phones, over 350 mobile phone accessories and watches of different brands, worth about 20,000 euros, were seized.
Following the work to combat criminal activity in the field of goods smuggling, the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes in DVP Vlora has struck a case of the sale of smuggled goods. For this case, the following citizen was arrested in the act:
B. Ç., 61 years old, resident of Finiq, for the criminal offenses "Trading in contraband goods", "Storage of contraband goods", "Illegal employment", "Concealment of income" and "Exercise of unregistered commercial activity in tax authorities".
This citizen was caught in neighborhood no. 2, Saranda, selling mobile phones and various accessories, suspected to be smuggled.
As material evidence, the Police seized 134 mobile phones, over 350 mobile phone accessories and watches of different brands.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Sarandë, for further actions. (A2 Televizion)
