The Special Court of Appeals did not release from the sequestration measure three real estate belonging to the businessman Pëllumb Gjoka, one of the detainees of the coded operation "Metamorfoza", in July of this year. He was handcuffed as part of a criminal ring uncovered after the electronic communications on the SKY ECC app were hacked.
In the Appeal, the businessman objected to the measure of sequestration of the assets in question, three areas of forest in the Pulaj-Plazh area, Velipojë Shkodër, almost 390 thousand square meters in total. His request did not convince the court, which left unchanged the decision given by the First Instance. Gjoka's three assets were seized at the request of SPAK, which raised suspicions that the assets in question, listed in the name of one person and two commercial companies, were obtained by Gjoka through the falsification of documents.
Meanwhile, businessman Gjoka is being investigated by SPAK, for a series of criminal offenses, including "structured criminal group". (A2 Televizion)
