In addition to the suspicions about Safet, Behar Bajri and Astmer Bilali, the SPAK investigation into the murder of Fatbardh Liçi, on August 10, 2018 in Shkodra, has also shed light on the role of a girl involved in the incident.
According to the Special Prosecution, she is Eria Ago, Safet Bajri's girlfriend. The young woman was arrested at the request of SPAK for "supporting the perpetrator of the crime" five days after Safet Bajri was handcuffed. The Special Court has imposed the security measure "prison arrest" on her, a measure that she has challenged in the Appeal.
Eria Ago, known as a model and a winner of a beauty contest, is suspected of having driven Astmer Bilal away from Shkodra after Liç's murder, using this vehicle, captured by a security camera in the city.
The SPAK investigation shows that on the morning of the day of Fatbardh Liçi's murder, Eria Ago traveled from Tirana to Shkodra in the company of Safet Bajri and Astmer Bilali. In Shkodra, Bajri and Bilali used another stolen "Mercedes" vehicle, with which they approached the bar where Fatbardh Liçi was drinking coffee.
Astmer Bilali got out of the vehicle and shot her from close range, killing her on the spot. They then drove off towards Dobraçi, where they burned the vehicle. According to SPAK, Safet Rustemi (Bajri) stayed in Shkodër, while Astmer Bilali drove off towards Tirana with Eria Ago.
In the statements given to SPAK during the investigation, Eria Ago denied having used Safet Bajri's vehicle and claimed that on the day of the incident she was in Tirana, while according to the investigation it turns out that she was in Shkodra.
According to the Special Prosecution Office, the murder of Fatbardh Lici, Ibrahim Lici's uncle, was motivated by Behar Bajri's revenge against Ibrahim Lici, whom he held responsible for the murder of former police officer Boran Bërçana on July 15, 2018. (A2 Televizion)
