The head of the Special Prosecutor's Office, Altin Dumani, said that in these 5 years, the structure that he leads has given the message that there are no more untouchables in Albania and that justice does not take sides, writes A2 CNN.
"We have managed to investigate officials of all levels, giving them a clear message that justice knows no sides and that there are no inviolables if the laws of this country are violated and violated", said Dumani in his speech during the ceremony with the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the creation of SPAK.
"We have shown that it can be faced with courage, to return Albanian citizens to the rule of law and to strengthen one of the main principles of democracy: Everyone is equal before the law and no one can be privileged before it . We are proud of our contribution, however little we have given, in facilitating this aspiration for our citizens. And we are determined to maintain the European standard of law enforcement", added Dumani.
