A 32-year-old man with a criminal record for murder and illegal possession of weapons has been arrested by the Fier Police, after being wanted for assault in the line of duty.
His arrest comes as a result of intensified checks and investigations based on operational information, regarding an event that occurred on March 11, 2025, when an employee of the Fier Penitentiary Institution was physically attacked while performing his duty.
The detainee is citizen MP, 32 years old, resident of Patos, to whom the Fier Court in March of this year assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense of "Assault due to duty", committed in collaboration, writes A2 CNN.
According to the investigation, MP, in collaboration with citizens AM, EN and ER, punched the employee of the prison. The three suspected accomplices are still being sought by the Police. (A2 Televizion)
