An attempt to steal livestock from a stable in the village of Plug in Lushnje almost turned into a tragedy. The perpetrators shot the owner of the stable with a "double" shotgun, seriously wounding him in the head. Residents of the area are seeking to equip themselves with weapons as they feel threatened by thieves, who have increased greatly in this area.

In the early hours of this Wednesday morning in Plug, Lushnja, several people, attempting to rob a shop, shot the owner with a gun, seriously wounding him in the head.
The injured person is Flamur Mane, who after receiving initial treatment at the Lushnja hospital was sent for more specialized treatment at the trauma hospital in Tirana.
This event has increased concern among residents of the Plug area, who say that thefts have increased significantly, and are demanding that they be equipped with weapons to protect their goods, as the cameras are not effective.
