The decisions issued by the First Instance Court for the defendants accused of being part of a structured criminal group, who prepared the plan for the execution of Inez Hajrulla in Vlora, have been upheld by the Court of Appeal.
The GJKKO Appeal announced this Monday that Leonard Luzi, Muharrem Koroveshi and Amarildo Nikolli will remain behind bars according to the initial sentences imposed on them.
Leonard Luzi was ultimately sentenced to 7 years and 4 months in prison for his involvement in planning the murder of Inez Hajrulla and Ervis Matodashaj. Luzi was extradited from Spain to our country in November 2024.
In the same case, the Appeals Court also confirmed the sentences for Amarildo Nikolli and Muharem Korovesh, who are accused of collaborating in providing the conditions for the commission of murder and illegal possession of weapons.
Nikolli was sentenced to 7 years and 4 months in prison, but with a shortened trial he will remain behind bars for 2 years and 9 months. Meanwhile, Koroveshi, with a 1/3 reduction in sentence, will serve 6 years and 8 months in prison. (A2 Televizion)
