The Tirana Prosecution has requested a life sentence for Dan Hutra, accused of murdering 3 women and injuring 3 others in March 2023, writes A2 CNN.
In total, the Prosecution requested 3 life sentences and 1 sentence of 35 years in prison for Hutra.
On March 1, 2023, Dan Hutra, a 40-year-old with numerous criminal records, committed a series of serious crimes in Tirana, killing three women and injuring three others within a few hours.
The Astir injury: At around 12:15, on "Teodor Keko" street, Hutra stabbed 40-year-old Marjana Gurakuqi, with whom he had a previous acquaintance.
Massacre in Kodër-Kamza: At around 12:35, in the apartment of his former partner, Elena Hysa, Hutra shot and killed Mevlute Hysa (30 years old), Elena's sister, and Hasime Dafku (30 years old), Elena's brother's fiancée. He also seriously injured Elena (35 years old) and her mother, Kujtime Hysa (60 years old).
Murder in Kamëz: At around 12:48, in the courtyard of her apartment in Kamëz, Hutra shot and killed Etleva Kurti (31 years old), the sister of Vladimir Kurti, with whom Hutra had had conflicts in prison.
Following these events, the police organized a large-scale operation and arrested Hutra at around 18:45 in the Sharra area, along with the crime weapon.
In his testimony, Hutra admitted to the crimes, stating that he had planned them consciously and that he did not care how much punishment he would receive. He expressed remorse only for the murder of Hasime Dafku, who was pregnant. (A2 Televizion)
