The Special Court confirms the "prison arrest" measure for Safet Bajri, Behar Brajovic and Astmer Bilali, writes A2 CNN. They are accused of the murder of Fatbardh Lici in 2018.
Safet Bajri was arrested a few days ago near his apartment in Dobraç, Shkodra, and brought to the capital. He also appeared in conversations declassified on the Sky Ecc and Encrochat applications, where serious crimes, including plans for murder, were discussed.
The hearing for Bajri and the two others was initially interrupted for procedural reasons. Judge Irena Gjoka was to verify, as a standby judge, the measure issued in absentia by Judge Etleva Deda, because the latter was abroad. However, this morning Judge Deda reported to work and the procedure for re-referencing the acts of the file in her hands will now be completed.
According to SPAK, the motive for the murder is suspected, among other things, of being revenge for the murder of Boran Bërçana, who was killed on July 15, 2018, along with his partner, Silvi Ndoci, a month before Fatbardh Lici was killed, reports A2. The investigation revealed that Behar Bajri blamed Ibrahim Liç for the murder of former police officer Bërçana. (A2 Televizion)
