The argument between young people in Kamëz that later ended in gunfire began after a fight between them, over banal swearing. Police sources say that the young people live in the same neighborhood and on Friday evening had a conflict with each other, initially over the words "why are you looking" and then ended in a physical confrontation, until they fired a gun from a moving car.
The police have announced that Dejvi Mullai, the driver of the BMW from which the gunman was shot, and Fabion Kurti are wanted as suspects. Enedjo Kaci, who was also a target in the incident, is also wanted. The latter was driving a rented Range Rover which he had later abandoned in the garage of a building. According to sources, the two perpetrators, Mullai and Kurti, are people with a history of drug distribution.
Meanwhile, yesterday evening, in connection with this incident, the police arrested an 18-year-old for making a false report. The young man had gone to police station no. 5 in Kamëz and claimed that he was the driver of the BMW and the person who had fired the gun. However, his arrest was made after security cameras did not show that he was at the scene. Based on this, the police suspect that the 18-year-old may have been introduced by other people to take responsibility for the crime. (A2 Televizion)
