A lawyer has passed away at the Mother Teresa University Hospital Center, after feeling unwell during a hearing at the Court of Appeal, the latter announced to the media.
The incident occurred at noon, in one of the courtrooms of the Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction, where a criminal trial was taking place. Attorney Gjovalin Ulndreaj, a member of the Shkodra Bar Association, was participating in the capacity of defense counsel, writes A2 CNN.
"During the trial, the lawyer showed serious health problems, leading to the immediate interruption of the process and the provision of first aid by the people present, until the arrival of the QSUNT Tirana Emergency Service. Following communication with the lawyer's family, it was announced that, unfortunately, the lawyer had passed away in the hospital," the announcement states. (A2 Televizion)
