The fire on Mount Shën Gjergji in the Dukat of Vlora is unstoppable.
The flames in Dukat continue for the sixth day in a row, writes A2 CNN.
The late evening hours apparently were critical for the activation of the fire.
Throughout Wednesday, the flames were apparently brought under control, but the wind that hit Dukat in the evening caused them to reactivate again.
The flames have moved even closer to the Llogora National Park, expanding the map of the area scorched by the flames.
Currently, the active fire sources are at the top of the mountain where intervention is difficult.
60 military, fire, and ADZM personnel are in action to extinguish the flames that are descending on the mountain slope, while two helicopters under the Ministry of Defense are taking water from Orikum to drop it on the top of Mount Dukat. (A2 Televizion)
