Former prosecutor Arjan Ndoja, today an elected DP MP, Arjan Ndoja, testified today in the Special Court about the assassination attempt against him at the Shkozet bridge overpass, where he himself was injured, while his driver, Andi Maloku, was killed.
His testimony came as part of the trial against Plaurent Dervishaj, who is accused of being the author of this assassination, writes A2 CNN.
We recall that at the time of the assassination, Ndoja was in the vehicle with citizen Aleksandër Laho, also known as Rrumi i Shijakut.
Ndoja said that he has never had problems with anyone, adding that the only concern he has had have been the statements of Prime Minister Edi Rama, the former Deputy Prime Minister at the time, and other members of the government.

In 2019, I lived in Tirana, but I was in Durrës for work. During that month, I lived in the city of Shëngjin for the period you asked me.
I had a Mercedes Benz car, the vehicle was driven by all the family members. During October 2019 I took a boy to work, who unfortunately is no longer alive, Andi Maloku. He stayed with me for about a month, I gave more to the car than he did, I just wanted him to be.
Apart from the situation where I was shot, there is nothing else. It was November 1, 1:00 PM. We had lunch with some friends, we stayed until around 4:00 PM. I was with the driver Andi Maloku, and Aleksandër Laho. I knew him as a lawyer.
In the car, the driver was Andi Maloku, I was in the passenger seat, and behind me was Aleksandër Laho. I was going home, he was going home, we shared a segment of the road.
We sat in the parking lot of the bar for 10 minutes, I don't know if anyone was there. The route was to the Dajlan Bridge, then to the overpass. As soon as we crossed the overpass, the shooting started. I didn't understand at first, it seemed like plastic, the bullets were coming from behind.
We didn't manage to see the car, because it couldn't reach it. The shots were fired from two guns, because the different noises were distinguishable. There were shots, but not volleys.
I'm not sure how many, but it must have been 13 shells.
The car slowed down because of the deceased. I was only conscious for 3 minutes, I fell to the ground after getting out of the car, I was unconscious for 6-7 minutes and I ended up in the hospital.
The moment he opened the door, sorry, Andi fell, he must have been in pain. He managed to get out of the car. The place where they hit us is like a pocket.
I don't know who shot me.
I have had absolutely no problems with anyone, not even turning my head back or to the left. I have had no, and I have no, concerns.
I only physically know this man here (Plarent Dervishaj). I was in a meeting once with a lawyer.
I want to know the motive. I heard from the press, from the letters you sent me, but I don't know why they did it. I don't owe anyone anything, I'm interested in the reason.
I have a house in Shëngjin. I stayed there. I haven't seen any suspicious vehicles, maybe it seems surprising to you, but I haven't had any concerns. Even today, after 6 years, someone comes out to tell me how much I owe them.

I only had one concern at that time, the statements of the government leaders. Because I thought they could bring me an investigation, or put pressure on me with a vetting.
