As a result of the coordination of information and operational work with Greek counterparts, through Interpol structures in Tirana and Athens, within the framework of operation "The Wanted", the Albanian citizen, internationally wanted, NK, alias NT, 34 years old, was arrested by the Greek police.
In 2022, the Court of Mati assigned this citizen the security measure "Arrest in prison", as he is suspected of being one of the perpetrators of the cultivation of narcotic plants, on a plot in the Ulëz Administrative Unit, which were found and destroyed by the Police.
Also, as a result of cooperation with partners, within the framework of the operation “The Wanted”, in Milan, Italy, citizen OJ, alias O. Ç., 44 years old, was arrested, and the procedure for his extradition to Albania was finalized. This citizen was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Tirana, after the Fier Judicial District Court sentenced him to 6 months in prison for the criminal offense of “Domestic Violence”.
