The Special Prosecution Office has closed the investigations into citizens Astrit Vladi and lawyer Erida Lazimi and has sent the case to court.
Through a SPAK announcement, it is announced that these citizens are accused of illegally exercising influence over a judge, writes A2 CNN.
It is also known that the defendant Erida Lazimi promised and provided the defendant, Astrit Vladi, the ability to exercise illegal influence over the judge of the preliminary hearing, in return for the irregular benefit of money, in order to favor the persons for whom the case had been requested to be sent to court in that criminal proceeding.

The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime has completed the investigations and on 24.7.2025, has sent for trial the criminal proceeding, no. 26/1/1 of 2025, against the defendants:
Astrit Vladi, accused of the criminal offense of "Exercising unlawful influence over persons exercising public functions", provided for by Article 245/1, paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code (according to the content of this provision before the amendments made by Law No. 43/2021).
Erida Lazimi, accused of the criminal offense of "Exercising unlawful influence over persons exercising public functions", provided for by Article 245/1, paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code (according to the content of this provision before the amendments made by Law No. 43/2021).
This criminal proceeding has been separated from the previous one with no. 26/1, dated 26.12.2024, for the criminal offenses: "Exercise of illegal influence over persons exercising public functions", "Passive corruption of judges, prosecutors and other officials of the justice system", "Drug trafficking", "Laundering of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity", provided for by articles 245/1, 319/ç, 283/a and 287 of the Criminal Code.
From the investigative actions carried out for this criminal proceeding, the necessary evidence has been collected which proves that:
On 14.09.2020, a preliminary hearing was held at the Court of First Instance in Tirana to adjudicate the request for sending to trial criminal proceedings no. 71 of 2020 of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance, Tirana, against citizens Alfred Vladi, Elvis Vladi and Alban Mollaymeri, accused of the criminal offense of "Failure to declare money and valuables at the border", committed in collaboration, as provided for by articles 179/a and 25 of the Criminal Code.
The investigations conducted have proven that the defendant, Astrit Vladi, asked the defendant, Erida Lazimi, who practices the profession of lawyer, to exercise illegal influence on the judge of the preliminary hearing, in order to favor citizens, Alfred Vladi, etc.
Defendant Erida Lazimi promised and provided defendant Astrit Vladi with the ability to exert illegal influence on the judge of the preliminary hearing, in return for improper monetary gain, in order to favor the persons for whom the case had been requested to be sent to court in that criminal proceeding.
The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime is continuing preliminary investigations into other episodes of the commission of criminal offenses of active corruption and passive corruption of judges, prosecutors and other justice officials, as well as other circumstances and facts that have emerged from the investigations conducted in connection with this criminal proceeding.
