The State Police reports that they have arrested another person wanted by their Italian partners.
Following the action "Operational 52" in the city of Durrës, citizen Fatjon Berisha alias Bledar Berisha, 36 years old, resident of Durrës, was located, arrested and handcuffed, with the aim of extradition to Italy.
This citizen was declared an international wanted person, after the Court of Rome, Italy, imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison" on him, for the criminal offense of "Trafficking in narcotics, committed within the framework of a criminal organization."
According to Italian criminal law, this offense carries a maximum penalty of up to 20 years in prison.
Inter-institutional cooperation continues to complete the extradition procedures of the 36-year-old to the Italian authorities. (A2 Televizion)
