They trafficked 1 ton of marijuana, the 4 traffickers who were discovered by Sky ECC interceptions are sent for trial

The Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime completed the investigations and sent the criminal proceedings with No. 150 of 2022, in charge of 4 defendants;

1. Islam Sefa (alias Xaka) – accused of consuming elements of the following criminal offences: 

i. "Trafficking of narcotics", carried out in the special form of cooperation, that of a structured criminal group, and more than once in 9 episodes (the one before 04.08.2020, and the episodes of 04.08.2020, 04.30.2020 , 15.05.2020, 22.05.2020, 29-31.05.2020, 02.02.2021, 24.02.2021 as well as 01.03.2021), provided for by articles 283/a/2 and 28 point 4 of the Criminal Code, in relation to article 334/1 of the Criminal Code "Committing offenses criminal by criminal organization or structured criminal group",
ii. "Structured criminal group", carried out in the form of the direction provided by article 333/a/1 of the Criminal Code.

2. Hajdar Lala (alias Xaka, alias Sefa) – accused of consuming elements of the following criminal offences:

i. "Trafficking of narcotic substances", carried out in the special form of cooperation, that of a structured criminal group, and more than once in 4 episodes (on 08.04.2020, 30.04.2020, 22.05.2020 and 29.05.2020) , provided by articles 283/a/2 and 28 point 4 of the Criminal Code, in relation to Article 334/1 of the Criminal Code "Commitment of criminal offenses by a criminal organization or structured criminal group",
ii. "Structured criminal group", carried out in the form of the direction provided by article 333/a/1 of the Criminal Code.

3. Vidjan Baroka – accused of consuming elements of the following criminal offences:

i. "Trafficking of narcotics", carried out in the special form of cooperation, that of the structured criminal group, and more than once in 4 episodes (dated 08.04.2020, 08.04.2020, 30.04.2020, 22.05.2020) , provided by articles 283/a/2 and 28 point 4 of the Criminal Code, in relation to Article 334/1 of the Criminal Code "Commitment of criminal offenses by a criminal organization or structured criminal group",
ii. "Structured criminal group", committed in the form of participation provided for by Article 333/a/2 of the Criminal Code.

4. Durim Xaka – accused of consuming the elements of the following criminal offences: 

i. "Trafficking of narcotics", carried out in the special form of cooperation, that of a structured criminal group, and more than once in 7 episodes (the one before 04.08.2020, and the episodes of 04.08.2020, 04.30. .2020, 15.05.2020, 22.05.2020, 29-31.05.2020 and 02.02.2021), 283/a/2 and 28 point 4 of the Criminal Code, in relation to Article 334/1 of the Criminal Code "Commitment of criminal offenses by a criminal organization or structured criminal group",
ii . "Structured criminal group", committed in the form of participation provided for by Article 333/a/2 of the Criminal Code.

From the entirety of the investigations carried out, the German-Albanian cooperation in the fight against organized crime and based on the communications developed on the encrypted platforms, EncroChat and SkyEcc, evidence has been administered within the framework of mutual legal assistance in the criminal field, which , have identified 12 people, 8 of whom are Albanian citizens and 4 German citizens, involved in the illegal criminal activity of drug trafficking. The amount of narcotics was mainly provided by Albania and Spain and after entering the German territory, it was traded in the region of Wolfsburg, Magdeburg, as well as in other countries of the European Union.
From the investigations, it has been found and proven that the defendants and their associates during the years 2020-2021 have trafficked in Germany, the amount of more than 1000 kg of narcotics of the marijuana type, the value of which reaches the amount of 3,374,400 (three million three hundred and seventy thousand and four hundred) euros.

From the acts administered for this criminal proceeding, it has been proven and proven that the defendants, Islam Sefa (alias Xaka), and Hajdar Lala (alias Sefa, alias Xaka) had a leading and financing role in the illegal criminal activity of drug trafficking, while the defendants, Vidjan Baroka and Durim Xaka and their associates prosecuted and convicted in Germany, have had a helping role.

In order to identify the other associates of the defendants who participated in these episodes, it was proceeded with the division of the acts of the criminal proceedings No. 150 of 2022, counting as criminal proceeding No. 150/1 of 2024, and the continuation of investigations. (A2 Televizion)
