Vladimir Këndella, 71, was arrested at a bar in Tirana after agents from Police Station No. 4 had information that he was carrying a weapon, A2 CNN reports. The weapon was later found in his apartment.
In the first statements, he told the investigators that he carried the gun for self-defense, for a murder he committed years ago in Germany, for revenge.
For this event, he was sentenced to 30 years in prison in Germany, and he had completed his sentence 2 years ago and returned to Albania.
