Robbery and money laundering, two extradited from Germany and Italy

Interpol Tirana has carried out the extradition of two citizens who were wanted. It is learned that 18-year-old Flavio Merkuri, sentenced to 2 and a half years in prison, was extradited from Germany.

The young man, in collaboration with his brother and 2 other citizens (all minors), attempted to steal a large amount of money from a minor citizen on the street, threatening him with a knife.

"Procedures were carried out for the extradition to Albania of citizen FM, 18 years old, resident of Tirana. This citizen was declared internationally wanted after the Tirana Court sentenced him to 2 years and 6 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Theft by force", attempted, committed in collaboration", informs the police.

Meanwhile, 50-year-old Ilia Ndoka has been extradited from Italy, after the GJKKO has assigned him the security measure "Arrest in Prison".

"The Albanian citizen IN, 50 years old, was extradited from Italy. This citizen was declared internationally wanted after the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Laundering of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity", committed in the form of a structured criminal group, "Structured criminal group" and "Committing criminal offenses by a structured criminal group and criminal organization", the police explain.
