Tirana Police have arrested a 20-year-old man and are searching for his accomplice, suspected of stealing a vehicle in the Yzberisht area. The police operation codenamed “Micro” was conducted by Crime Investigation specialists from Police Station No. 6, following a report made by a 28-year-old woman.
According to the Police announcement, the incident occurred on April 25, 2025, when two young men allegedly entered the garage of a building on "Kol Koçi" street and stole a "Nissan Micra" vehicle. After investigations, the police managed to identify the perpetrators and arrest one of them, citizen M. Sh., 20 years old, resident of Tirana.
Meanwhile, his accomplice, citizen EH (B), also 20 years old, has been declared wanted and work continues to capture him.
The stolen vehicle was found near the arrested person's apartment and was seized as material evidence. The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
Police are continuing their investigations to fully uncover the incident.
