Durrës Police have identified and announced two people wanted in connection with the assassination attempt on 29-year-old Ermir Dedja.
Sources from the investigation team confirm to A2 CNN that the investigations are on the right track to clarify the incident and identify the people involved in the assassination. The same sources from the investigation team indicate that the two people identified and wanted are people who helped the perpetrators create the infrastructure.
It is learned that the wanted persons secured the vehicle and collaborated closely with the perpetrators, who are believed to have been two other people.
Meanwhile, forensic experts have managed to find evidence ( as much as they could from the burned vehicle in Gërdec ) and have sent it to the forensic laboratory and are awaiting the results of the analysis. Due to the 29-year-old's intense involvement in various criminal activities over the past few years, the police have raised several investigation leads which have become the cause for the execution of Ermir Dedja, a character known not only to the local police.
Ermir Dedja was shot dead in the late hours of Monday evening. He received a bullet in the chest, which caused his instant death. (A2 Televizion)
