Murder of Palestinian woman in Tirana, the perpetrator may be the father

The investigation into the murder of 24-year-old Palestinian woman, Rayyan Alwan, who lost her life in Tirana in a rented apartment, has taken an unexpected turn.

Albanian authorities, after requesting to inform the deceased's parents, have received information from German authorities that Fati Alwan may be the victim's father and that he is already wanted by Albanian justice.

Fati and Rayyan had entered Albania posing as tourists. The new suspicions have raised concerns about their origins, as both had traveled to Albania with Greek documents through Rinas airport.

The victim and Fati arrived in Albania a few days before the tragic event, and on February 22, Fati traveled from Albania to Athens, and then to Amsterdam, where his traces were lost.

The incident was discovered when the owner of the apartment, who had rented the apartment, noticed Rayyan's lack of movement and went to check the apartment. She found the lifeless body of her daughter, who had been stabbed to death. Further investigation and analysis of security cameras showed that Fati had fled early in the morning of February 22, leaving his daughter dead.

Albanian and international authorities are working closely to clarify all the circumstances of the incident and to track down Fati Alwan, who is now one of the most wanted persons in this murder. Investigations are ongoing and more information about this tragic event is expected to emerge.
