A 52-year-old man in the village of Toshkëz in Këlcyrë has been arrested by the Police after a Kalashnikov-type firearm and ammunition were found on him.
Through a statement, the Police announced that a firearm and ammunition were seized as material evidence, writes A2 CNN.
Meanwhile, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Gjirokastra Court of First Instance, for further action.

The 52-year-old man who possessed it in the apartment is arrested.
As part of the actions to crack down on illegal activities, based on police intelligence, the services of the Këlcyrë Police Station, in cooperation with the Përmet Police Commissariat, conducted a search of the apartment of citizen KL, in the village of Toshkëz, Këlcyrë, where he was suspected of possessing weapons without a permit.
During the search, the Police services found a Kalashnikov firearm with cartridges, which this citizen was carrying without a permit.
At the end of the actions, citizen KL, 52 years old, was arrested in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense of "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Gjirokastra Court of First Instance, for further action. (A2 Televizion)
