He killed an 81-year-old man for harassing his wife, the court grants security

The Tirana Court set the security measure of "prison arrest" for Isuf Hasa, accused of the murder of 81-year-old Xhemal Meta.

Isuf Hasa explained to the police the motives that led him to take the life of his neighbor. He told police agents that he had gone to Xhemal Meta's house where they had had coffee and then argued.

"In the morning I went to Xhemal's house and we had coffee. After we finished there we decided to go to the village bar. In the yard of his house I saw where the hammer was. I took it and shot him from behind. He had been bullying and insulting me for a long time," Hasa confessed.

He further reveals another reason why he was led to murder his neighbor, claiming that Xhemal Meta also harassed his wife, writes A2.

"I had realized that he was harassing my wife. I work as a night watchman in Dajt and there were times when I wouldn't go home for three nights. Xhemali would call me and say: "Why don't you give us some of your wife's brandy?" I couldn't stand it for a while. After I killed him, I took the money. I knew he had it because he had told me himself. Then I went to the electric station and took one of their cars to Tirana. Then I went to the girl's house in Vora."

Police sources indicate that Isuf Hasa was escorted even after the incident and was intentionally released by the police, while initially denying any connection to the incident, A2 reports.

But then, based on the evidence they had obtained, the agents went to arrest him. This time, he was handcuffed at his home in Zall-Bastar. (A2 Televizion)
