The General Prosecutor's Office announced today information on reports, criminal proceedings and arrests related to criminal offenses affecting the May 11 parliamentary elections.
The prosecutor's offices at the first instance court with general jurisdiction have registered a total of 87 criminal reports, 34 criminal proceedings, while 7 people have been arrested for criminal offenses in the field of elections, the General Prosecutor's Office announces.
The source of notification of criminal offenses for the above reports were the judicial police in 49 cases, SPAK in 15 cases, political entities in 9 cases, mainly in 11 cases and citizens in 3 cases.
The above reports were registered 8 in the Fier Prosecution Office, 5 in the Saranda Prosecution Office, 4 in the Durrës Prosecution Office, 21 in the Tirana Prosecution Office, 3 in the Gjirokastër Prosecution Office, 4 in the Kukës Prosecution Office, 7 in the Lezha Prosecution Office, 15 in the Dibër Prosecution Office, 2 in the Vlora Prosecution Office, 4 in the Korçë Prosecution Office, 2 in the Shkodër Prosecution Office, 11 in the Elbasan Prosecution Office and 1 in the Berat Prosecution Office.
A total of 34 criminal proceedings were registered from the above reports.

In the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Gjirokastra, a total of 3 proceedings.
In the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Elbasan, a total of 8 proceedings.
In the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, a total of 1 proceeding.

6 criminal reports from the Durrës, Lezha, Dibër Prosecutor's Office and two criminal proceedings from the Fier and Shkodër Prosecutor's Office have been sent to SPAK for its jurisdiction.
Of the registered criminal reports, a decision has been made not to initiate proceedings for 12 of them. 5 from the Tirana Prosecution Office, 2 from the Kukës Prosecution Office, 2 from the Dibër Prosecution Office, 1 from the Saranda Prosecution Office, 1 from the Fier Prosecution Office and 1 from the Elbasan Prosecution Office.
A criminal proceeding registered by the Dibër Prosecution Office has been requested to be sent to trial with one defendant, without a personal security measure, and a criminal proceeding registered by the Gjirokastër Prosecution Office has been sent to court with a request for dismissal.
7 people have been arrested in flagrante delicto for criminal offenses in the field of elections, 4 at the Tirana Prosecution Office, 1 at the Elbasan Prosecution Office, 1 at the Lezha Prosecution Office and 1 at the Fier Prosecution Office.
An arrest warrant has also been issued for 4 people by the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office.
