Mevlan Shanaj, in an interview for "Temp" by Suela Demiri, on A2 CNN, spoke not only about the state of television today, but also about that of society.
"I take my job very seriously. I worked for a long time in television, but I was lucky. We were a group that created television. There were 27 of us, there was no other media. But we thought of bringing the model of the screen of culture, of film, of documentaries, of spectacles... not to be in these worthless things that today are mostly done for speculation and abuse. I am one of those people who took things very seriously. We are a little stupid, but we do good things," said Shanaj.
According to him, after the '90s, the concept of democracy in Albania was misused.
"It did not come as the Albanian people expected, as a dream of development, as a dream of freedom. It came as an anarchic system, which continues today. The film studio was good, with professional foundations, and it was destroyed. But it is not just film. Many things were destroyed in many areas of life. Today, Tirana is a surprise, but it is from the initiative of the individual. A crisis is being experienced, many things have been hit hard. But, I believe that good times will come", emphasized Mevlan Shanaj. (A2 Televizion)
