Today, tributes are being held at the National Opera and Ballet Theater for the passing of the renowned Albanian actress, Margarita Xhepa.
A few minutes ago, her son, actor Ndriçim Xhepa, spoke, saying that his mother ended her life as God intended.
He also said that until shortly before her death, she had an inner desire to make a film, despite not having the physical ability to do so.
"To be honest, what advice could she give? She led her life normally, despite having had some health problems in recent weeks, especially with her lungs. Even the fatigue of the years takes its toll, which is normal. But she had a strange nature of her own, and when the conversation broke down at moments, she would say that she was no longer able to go on stage.
But in the film, she had a desire to do something else. But I say that she ended it the way God wanted, that the last role she played with Spartak Pecan in Bolero in the Elders' Villa, as if it coincided with her life, just as the finale of her life came.
"As it should be, this was also the curtain of life that closed, like the curtain of the stage. But what matters is the way in which she is being respected today, by various figures, but also by countless people who are the audience of those she left on stage. This is the greatest pleasure that her family members can receive, but also that of her soul that leaves this world today," said Ndriçim Xhepa. (A2 Televizion)
