The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, expressed condolences on the passing of actress Margarita Xhepa.
Through a message addressed to her family, the community of artists and all Albanians, who have admired the diva of stage and screen, the President of the Republic praised the figure of Margarita Xhepa as an artist, as a woman, as a mother, but also her role in society.
"I learned with sadness that Margarita Xhepa, the star of the Albanian stage and screen, passed away today. With her interpretations, where she stood out in embodying the figure of a woman and especially a mother, Margarita Xhepa brought light and became a beloved part of Albanian families.
The great artist, a respected public figure, a respected wife and mother, was dedicated to art until the last years of her life and used her art for important causes in defense of women and children.
"My deepest condolences go to the family, whose dear man passed away today, to the community of Albanian artists and to all Albanians who have followed and applauded the art that Margarita Xhepa donated over the years," the President of the Republic writes on his official Facebook profile.
In addition to the awards and titles in her artistic career, actress Margarita Xhepa is "Honor of the Nation" and honored with the "Gjergj Kastriot Skanderbeg" decoration. (A2 Televizion)
