Basir Çollaku sees the Task Force that was introduced by the Special Anti-Corruption Structure to investigate electoral crimes in the upcoming May 11 elections as propaganda.
In the Off the Record studio, the analyst stated that SPAK has often complained about a lack of human resources, while adding that these are the same prosecutors who previously failed to complete investigations into electoral crimes.
"I see a little propaganda from SPAK. There are things that are lame. SPAK has often complained about the lack of human resources due to the workload. To get prosecutors out into the field, there are only 20 of them. Party financing is the Achilles' heel that prosecutors must insist on. They are the ones who taint the elections. These prosecutors have also been involved in serious crimes. Has electoral crime been investigated before? There have been reports from the opposition before. I remember the case of Durrës, when prosecutors went to the cemetery to identify two commissioners. We have the Dibra file... many of the suspects have not been called to testify," Basir Çollaku told journalist Andrea Danglli. (A2 Televizion)
