"I don't believe that Pandeli Majko is a person with criminal activity like some of his colleagues from the majority, who are involved in gangs, crime and corruption, but in the electoral aspect, Majko is involved." Democratic deputy Dashnor Sula gave this answer in the Ditari studio with Bruna Çifligu on A2 CNN, after Sali Berisha's statement that Majko is an electoral criminal, which led the latter to ask Elisa Spiropali to request information from the Information Service, as he also expressed his readiness to leave the mandate.
But in the A2 CNN studio, Sula admits that even the Democrats have had offers from the gangs for cooperation in the elections, but they have not accepted. And this, according to him, is the difference with the socialists.
"Like the work of the one who says in the movie: You swallow a spoonful of soup and you vomit for the rest of your life. Do you think that we have not had offers for cooperation with gangs, for people, for votes? But we didn't do it, because today you get a privilege and you have it hanging on your jacket. This is our difference as an opposition with this majority."
When asked if any of the opposition MPs appear in the SKY ECC wiretapping, Sula answers: "If any opposition MP appears in the wiretapping, may it be haram!" Mother's and father's bread is haram. Those who have been beaten since they were small have syndromes and when they grow up they like to hang out with the strong".
On A2 CNN, Sula repeated the democratic leader's accusations that SPAK is intimidated by Rama, even though he gives some credit to this institution.
"SPAK is not immune, certain segments within SPAK have occult interests. Rama has the possibility of intimidation. Why does it happen to the mayors and ministers of this majority before they are arrested and before they come to justice, they resign? Because Rama does not want them to be on duty to be arrested. It shows that certain segments within SPAK inform and provide strong information. SPAK would undoubtedly be of tremendous and added value when fighting corruption and organized crime. It has not fully completed this task. I have a somewhat positive assessment of certain events, but elements protected by this majority are not brought to justice. And it gives us the opportunity that we and Mr. Berisha do not trust SPAK".
He accused the government of depopulating and criminalizing the state. According to him, what was done in 12 years of government was not even done by the invaders.
"The depopulation and criminalization of the state in every cell are serious and have made this country irreparable. There are no young people, no development, no consumption and no production. Young people are the heart of society".
Sula points out that this country needs moral men and women in politics.
"I am not the polished diamond of Albanian politics, if you compare me with other colleagues who go through affairs. I've been in politics for 20 years, I may be less smart, but first you have to be human. This country needs men and women who are moral, honest and dedicated to the country and not smart men who, when they come to power, regulate the tribe and get rich".
Asked about the DP's electoral bid under these conditions, Sula emphasizes that first a good team is needed to be the mirror of the opposition. He appreciates Berisha's work and says it will be a mistake if they don't respond to his pace.
"I am happy that finally PD and most of the opposition are on a train that has not been filled with all the wagons, but the wagons have been added, which is a very good thing. Berisha's job is impossible to handle. At such an age that Berisha is my father's age and works are rare people. If we don't respond to Berisha's rhythm, this is the biggest mistake we make. The people close to Mr. Berisha who will create this team will have to choose without prejudice and friendship. You have to see who has been in opposition and who has been moderate, and choose a good team that is a reflection of the opposition". (A2 Televizion)
