The leader of the Albania Initiative coalition, Adriatik Lapaj, has stated that they are close to winning a parliamentary mandate in Fier.
Lapaj made the comments in a statement to the media, where he said that they need another 1,000 votes to secure the deputy's mandate.
He added that with the current vote projection in Fier and the current projection of diaspora votes, the political entity he leads could reach 9,000 votes, taking the mandate from the SP.
Lapaj also added that the votes they received are votes of dignity, while adding that the lack of unity has penalized small parties in these elections.
"We are making sure that every vote cast by citizens is counted. It is being counted at every table. With this projection that we are in now, I think that the first mandate for our movement will be in the Fier region."
Because with the projection we have now, in Fier we will pass 7,000 votes and with the projection of the diaspora vote we will secure 2,000, so we reach 9,000 votes and we think that the mandate will belong to us.
"I am one of those people who entered the race knowing all the difficulties that the race has. I am here to protect every vote, because we consider it as a trust from everyone. This is a new plant that we are planting with great dignity and there are 70 thousand votes of dignity. If we take it, the mandate will be taken away from the SP," said Lapaj, writes A2 CNN.
