Bardhi: The President should dismiss the UBT rector, Peleshi: Sallaku is ready to speak in the DP group as well

With the call of UBT rector Fatbardh Sallaku to the parliamentary group meeting, following the arrests that SPAK made at the institution he heads, the Socialist Party, according to Gazment Bardhi, has intimidated justice.

The head of the Democratic parliamentary group, while responding to his counterpart in the Socialist Party, Niko Peleshi, said that the presence of the UBT rector was unconstitutional.

" I want to strongly condemn the act that occurred yesterday in the Assembly, that a rector sought refuge in your parliamentary group, this comes at a time when the Senate has not clarified, but is being confessed to in your group ," Bardhi said in the Assembly.

Bardhi ironically added that Safet Bajri also requested to speak in the Socialist parliamentary group after being arrested, while Peleshi responded by saying that Fatbardh Sallaku also requested to speak in the DP parliamentary group, not taking sides.

"They tell me that Safet Bajri has also requested to be heard in your group," said Bardhi, while Peleshi replied: "Speculation and abuse of speech in parliament, because if you followed the rector's words, he was willing to come to you to give explanations . "

"He didn't take sides, nor did we," Peleshi emphasized.

But Bardhi insisted on his position, further demanding that the President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, dismiss rector Fatbardh Sallaku for violating the constitution.

Peleshi responded further to his Democrat colleague's accusations, asking him not to bring the DP primaries' quarrels into the Parliament hall.

" It is unfair to misinform the public, because it is a sacred platform here. If you are connected to the primaries and the tensions and uncertainties you have there, bring them here, this is your behavior. Why did we open the door to the rector? He came to clarify and ask for support so that the image is not tarnished but also to support the international process.
