Democratic Party MP Asllan Dogjani, who is also a candidate for the May 11 elections, has expressed confidence in the victory of the 'Alliance for a Greater Albania' coalition.
Dogjani made the comments during an interview on 'Ditari i Pasdites' with journalist Bruna Çifligu on A2 CNN, where he said that he himself would be the most voted candidate on the open lists in Tirana.
Dogjani also said that he has been among the most active MPs in Parliament, which, according to him, has been confirmed by international studies that measure the performance of legislators.
"I was a deputy in the Tirana district for 2 years, because I replaced Belind Këlliçi. In 2021, I was last on the Tirana list, because there was a different mayor at the time. I knew that kind of system, I was sure I wouldn't win. But I'll try, I said, as I've worked in life. And even though I was last on the Tirana list, I got about 6,000 votes.
And I entered Parliament because the Constitutional Court changed the electoral system and because of that decision I entered Parliament. In 2 years I have been the most active deputy of the Albanian Parliament. I have made interpellations, I have undertaken initiatives.
"In the studies that internationals have done, I have been among the most active MPs. I find extraordinary support. And what I have found so far is that I will be the most voted MP on the open list of Tirana. I have extraordinary support. I measure it by the support of the people I speak to," said Dogjani, writes A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
