Berisha gathers the opposition to unite in a front, allies await refuge on safe

A day before the protest called by the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha gathered his allies at headquarters, where he demanded that all opposition forces gather in the broadest possible front against the ruling socialists.

"The time is for a broad opposition front, and therefore I invite all political forces that feel themselves to be in opposition, consider themselves to be in opposition, regardless of any disagreements they may have with each other, to unite in this front to successfully confront this evil that we face ," Berisha said.

Berisha's call to be together is welcomed by allies, but there is still uncertainty about the manner of cooperation.

"This is a negotiation, not a game of squash. I have not mentioned the number of mandates, every force entered the elections to win. The objective of the PL, which has never wavered, is the collapse of the drug regime," declared Tedi Blushi.

"Negotiations determine it, numbers are a very ordinary thing, cooperation is of greater importance," said Sali Shehu, the leader of the New Democratic Spirit.

"We are holding talks, but this is not the topic of today's meeting ," said Artur Roshi from the Democratic National Front.

"We are only for the protest...", declared Nard Ndoka, chairman of the PDK.

The most obvious of the Democratic Party's allies are the leader of the Agrarian Environmentalist Party, Agron Duka, who has claimed that he is looking for two candidates on a safe list, and Vangjel Dule of the Union for Human Rights Party, who has expressed his desire to run in Vlora.
