Sali Berisha only stayed at SPAK for a few minutes, in his next appearance before the judicial police officer. After leaving, the DP leader spoke to the media, accusing Prime Minister Edi Rama of the Tirana incinerator affair and Taulant Balla of links to organized crime.
According to Berisha, SPAK's investigations into the "Partizani" file began after a denunciation from Balla. The opposition leader demanded the latter's arrest, saying that he is involved in the "Toyota Yaris" file and acts as a member of the criminal group of Suel Çela and Bajra.
"I came here without delay, every two weeks because my arrival serves as a worldwide proof of the political abuse of justice by drug trafficker Edi Rama to attack political opponents. The misuse of SPAK is part of Rama's strategy to hit the Albanian opposition. The case began with the political denunciation without any facts, of the political exponent of the Elbasan, Shkodra and Fushë Krujë gangs, Taulant Balla, and has been kept up for political purposes.
