The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, reacted through a Facebook post to anti-Albanian chants in Kumanovo, during a youth basketball match.
Berisha described them as "an act of primitive nationalism", writes A2.
"The Democratic Party condemns with the greatest force the barbaric primitive anti-Albanian calls in Kumanovo as evidence of racism and primitive nationalism against the Albanian ethnicity for centuries and millennia in its lands, but also against the very constitutional order of the Republic of North Macedonia. The Democratic Party, by condemning with the greatest force these acts, appreciates and supports the stance of the Albanian political forces and the state authorities of North Macedonia towards them," reads Sali Berisha's post.
