The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has continued his denunciations of the May 11 elections. At a press conference, the leader of the blue party released a video from several polling stations in the Municipality of Kruja. According to Berisha, it shows "the police illegally and unconstitutionally controlling the citizens' votes."
"Today, here we have videos from a series of centers in the Municipality of Kruja, where you will see how voting was held in this municipality, while the political police of the patronage Nazis illegally, unconstitutionally controlled the citizens' vote, or the citizens voted collectively, or they voted with cameras on their heads, so that their votes could be read. This is the secrecy of the vote."
Describing the elections as an electoral farce, Berisha said that the lack of a free vote is the fundamental problem of the destruction of Albania and Albanians.
"Now, let's return to the fundamental, devastating problem for Albania and Albanians. The electoral farce of May 11, 2025. At the foundation of the devastation of Albania, of the halving of its population in 10 years. At the foundation of the great increase in poverty in this country. At the foundation of the total domination of Albania by drug cartels and crime, lies the lack of a free vote for Albanians with a combination of these factors, therefore, the DP is determined to present to Albanians the entire ugly farce that occurred on May 11, with the full belief that it will be a great motivation for them to rise up and restore at any cost and under any conditions the free vote in Albania, to confront the narco-state."
