Over 71,000 ballots have been sent to the diaspora, and over 8,000 have arrived in the country with the votes of emigrants. A2CNN journalist Ervin Koçi from the Olympic Park, now transformed into a CEAZ for the diaspora vote, has provided more details about this process.
"They are proceeding with the packaging of the last envelopes and their sending to the respective addresses. It is not about specific envelopes separated by districts, but those envelopes that have been identified as problematic and after verifying the address, the process of packaging and sending the ballots to the addresses that the Albanians have sent has continued. The data that speaks of the return to Albania. There are 71,481 ballots received by voters from abroad and 8,407 that have arrived at the CEC. When they arrive at the CEC, the envelopes are divided into two respective boxes. In one are the electoral materials, in the other are the B envelopes," reported the A2 CNN journalist.
According to him, Shkodra, Fier and Vlora have not brought any ballots, while Durrës leads with 3792 ballots, and Tirana with only one.
"The regions that have brought ballots are all, with the exception of 3 regions; Shkodër, Fier and Vlora have not yet brought any ballots to Albania filled out by voters from abroad.
Durrës leads with 3792, Dibra 1987, Berat 1671, Elbasan 955, Kukës 118, Lezha 86, Gjirokastra 65, Korça 32, Tirana with only one ballot paper arrived at the CEC premises in the Olympic Park.
