Russia is a threat to all of us due to cyberattacks and disinformation. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, at the joint conference with her Albanian counterpart, Edi Rama, after the summit. Praising the Albanian hospitality, she said that this summit is very important at a time of challenges that Europe is facing.
"It has been a very warm welcome here in Albania. This forum is important because Europe is facing a number of challenges and we need this format when we have countries that are not members of the EU. We are ready to take the baton and I want to emphasize that security will be a priority, as we live in an insecure world, Russia is a threat to all of us because of cyber attacks and disinformation. They are trying to destroy democracy," said Frederiksen, according to A2 CNN.
The Danish Prime Minister also stressed that "re-armament should be our No. 1 priority. They have committed to a 30-day unconditional ceasefire, but we have not seen any signals from Russia yet, so we need to push Russia by adding more sanctions to end the war."
Among other things, A2 CNN reports, she also highlighted the competitiveness of European companies for fuel so that they are not dependent on Russia, as well as immigration.
"The competitiveness of our companies is important and we must put an end to fuel, gas and hydrocarbons from Russia. We must be competitive so that customers in Europe have low-cost energy.
