Luciano Boçi, speaking at the protest for A2 CNN, stated that the opposition has done its duty by denouncing the violations in the elections, "but the bodies serving Edi Rama have not taken the appropriate measures."
"We have made our complaints and they have not yet been taken into consideration. We are not investigators or police, we are politicians who have done our duty with complaints, but the bodies serving Edi Rama have not taken the appropriate measures. After the results are out, they supposedly act. He came to Shkodra and took over the administration at an electoral meeting, at 2:00 PM. We reported this and no action was taken. What other facts do you want? We are a political force, not a paramilitary formation that protects something that the law should protect in fact. If it doesn't work like this, it's not democracy," said Boçi.
"These are not elections, they are a yoke against Albanians. This is not a political system, but a bandit and criminal system," Boçi added.
When asked if the statute would be respected after losing the elections, Boçi replied: "We will clean up Albania once, then we will deal with our statute. The statute has its time, today we are at war with Rama. It must be abolished in any form that is foreseen in democracy."
